We understand that stepping into a recovery meeting takes courage. That's why Resilient Recovery Circles offer more than just a meeting space—we provide a confidential, trauma-informed gathering place, facilitated by skilled professionals, where your safety and autonomy are paramount. Together, we explore the path back to our bodies with gentle curiosity and deep compassion, discovering authentic ways to move beyond old coping patterns toward true liberation.
First Tuesdays 7:00-8:15PM | San Francisco, California
Join us on the first Tuesday of every month at HeartLab, our beautiful San Francisco home! Located in the Mission District, HeartLab is a vibrant and eclectic space that offers cushy backjacks, a massive daybed and an “introvert loft” for those times when you need a little extra space. The SF circle kicks off our rotating monthly theme (managing anxiety, cultivating self-compassion, and setting healthy boundaries, to name a few) and provides ample space to explore a deeper connection to yourself and your somatically-curious recovery peers. Many attendees comment on the value of having a meaningful theme with practical tools to return to throughout the month.
Third Fridays 7:00-8:15PM | Oakland, California
On the third Friday of every month, we stretch out in our Oakland headquarters — the warm and welcoming Nest Yoga. Nestled on the quaint and quirky Piedmont Avenue, Nest offers glowy lighting, a calming minimalist design, and all of the blankets and bolsters you could want to feel cozy and supported! In Oakland, we deepen into our monthly exploration of embodied recovery themes, connect with each other, and unwind from the stress of the week. It’s a very nourishing way to head into the weekend, with body and mind in harmony.
Last Thursdays 12:00-1:00PM PST | ONLINE
Join us from wherever you are on the last Thursday of every month as we take a midday break to intentionally pause, move our bodies, and connect with each other. These circles will look a bit different than our in-person gatherings as we hone in on what’s most needed during the workday. We’ll get in our bodies and support our nervous systems in a slightly less structured way, really allowing the present moment themes to guide our experience. You’ll receive a zoom link once you register!
Only 25 spaces at both in-person Circles, so RSVP ASAP!
All of our circles are donation-based. Anything over the suggested amount is a contribution to those experiencing financial hardship and a donation to the facilitators. If the sliding scale provided by our ticketing site does not work for you, please reach out. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Questions? Send us an email!
Resilience | re·sil·ience | noun

Beth Foley
Beth is a Midwest-born nature lover who found her way to sobriety through the path of yoga, an ever-evolving practice that continues to inspire and support her. Her work focuses on the power of somatic awareness and nervous system regulation to transform unwanted patterns, an invaluable skill for navigating recovery of all kinds. Beth has been sharing this work for several years, supporting many clients in releasing held trauma from their bodies and living a more aligned, fulfilling life.
We have found a huge gap in the recovery space – a supportive community that’s focused on the recovering BODY & Nervous System.
Because the body is where we feel all of the feelings we’ve been avoiding (with overworking, spending, drinking, eating, smoking, sex, and the list goes on), it’s imperative to include the body in our healing process.
We recognize all forms of addiction when we use the term “in recovery,” and intend for these groups to be fully inclusive. As long as you are interested in reconnecting with and deepening connection to your body, we would love to have you.
Every group will follow the same rhythm of peer support and process time, along with guided somatic practice and reflection. This is a trauma-informed, relaxed space to share and relate with each other, and ourselves, in new ways.
“Once you start approaching your body with curiosity rather than with fear, everything shifts.”
— Bessel van der Kolk
